Section Semifinal Playoffs- Special Teams Players of the Week (2014)

As the Minnesota State Section Semifinal Football games come to a close a number of kickers were huge contributors to their team's scoring.  This week 2 kickers had big games and were selected as our Special Teams Kickers of the Week.  Danny Steiner of Hastings converted 4 PATs and kicked 2 Field Goals of 35 yards each.  Isaac Stadler of Northfield asked converted 4 PATs and kicked 2 Field Goals of 35 and 27 yards.  Punter/Kicker Patrick LeCorre also had a strong outing as a punter.  He had 3 punts for 147 yards for a 49.0 yard average.

Patrick and Isaac have been regulars in our Player of the Week awards.  They are having a great year as high school specialists.  Congrats!

• AJ Laudet- Stillwater HS- 5 for 5 PATs and 1 Field Goal of 24 yards- 8 points
• Masud Ali- St Paul Central HS- 2 for 2 PATs and 2 Field Goals of 31 & 34 yards- 8 points

• Ben Beckman- Blaine HS- 1 for 2 PATs and 1 Field Goal of 22 years- Game Winner with 8 seconds.

• Patrick LeCorre- Edina HS- 3 punts for 147 yards and a 49.0 yard average. Also kicked 3 PATs and 1 Field Goal of 34 yards.

• Tanner Kamm- Adrian HS- 3 punts for 128 yards and a 42.7 yard average.
• Ryan Richelsen- Providence Academy- 3 punts for 126 yards and a 42.0 yard average.
• Brett Shepley- Burnsville HS- 7 punts for 276 yards and a 39.4 yard average
• Alex Probert- Andover HS- 2 punts for 118 yards and a 59.0 yard average

Top Collegiate Specialist

•  Alexi Johnson- St Johns University- 7 for 7 on PATs and 1 Field Goal of 27 yards- 10 points
