Joe Tjosvold signs with SDSU!

I recently received a great testimonial from one of our Senior kickers, Joe Tjosvold of Tartan High School.  Joe and I have worked together for 2 years now.  Joe has a very big leg and is an excellent kick off specialist as well as very accurate on field goals.  What I like best about Joe's situation is that he came from a football program that wasn't necessarily the strongest in the state and we were able to showcase his leg to college coaches to find him an opportunity that fit him best both academically and athletically where he will legitimately have a chance to earn a starting kickoff spot as a true freshman.

'When I was a Sophomore in High School I decided to try out for the football team to be the kicker. I made the Varsity Tartan HS team and realized that I needed to learn some techniques. I found Chris Husby and worked with him with individual training, and I attended his camps.  I really enjoyed his camps and Chris brings in professional coaches to assist which is nice to get more perspective on things.  I was recruited by 8 Division 1 schools and other Division 2 and Division 3 schools. I decided to attend South Dakota State University.  Thank you for your help."   -Joe Tjosvold, Tartan High School, Future South Dakota State University Kicker.

Kicking Coach Testimonials

This past week I have received two great testimonials from a parent whose son attended one of my recent kicking camps, and from a collegiate specialist I have helped train over the last 2 years and mentor as he pursues the NFL.  Please enjoy them as I have as well.

"We've been to multiple camps like Kohl's and Sailers, but this camp was ran much better. The staff were very personable and did a good job combining instruction and competition with players. It was also nice to see how much fun everyone had throughout the event." - Parent Testimony from our Southern Specialists Camp

43 Specialists attended the Southern Specialists Camp we ran with Team Jackson Kicking

"Chris is an not just another kicking instructor.  He is a teacher that is willing to take the time and effort to look at each kicker and punter on an individual level in order to cater to their specific needs, kicking style, and approach.  He has years of collegiate experience, and Free Agent NFL level training and tryouts, which have allowed him to not only help high school and college specialists, but myself included.  Chris does all of this in order to give back what he has learned over the years and I applaud him for that.  I can't thank Chris enough for the influence he has played during my collegiate career at Minnesota, but also as a mentor as I continue on in my journey to the NFL.  I would recommend Chris to anyone that is looking to improve themselves on and off the field." - Jordan Wettstein, University of Minnesota, Kicker 2009-2012 & Green Bay Blizzard Arena Football 2013
