July 13- North Dakota NCS Football Kicking Camp


Join us, on Sunday, July 13, 2014, as Coach Chris Husby, and his staff at Special Teams Football Academy will be running it's North Dakota NCS (National Camp Series) Kicking, Punting and Snapping Camp at Shanley High School (5600 25th St South. Fargo, ND 58104) from 12:00-3:30 PM.  Registration starts at 11:30 PM.
 
This camp will be an (NCS) evaluation camp.  The camp will offer 3.5 hours of evaluation. 
We will run the specialists through a standardize test for specialists on Field Goals, Kickoffs, Punts and Long/Short Snaps.  The evaluation can be used for athletes that have interest in pursuing football at the collegiate level.  I like to refer to it as the ACT test for specialists.  For more information on how the camp runs read here.  Fun and competitive competitions will help you being your kicking game to the next level!

The NCS Evaluation are for specialists in grades 6th through 12th grade.  The 3 hour camp is open for specialists of all skill level. 


Each athlete that participates, will receive a rating that can be used to see how you stack up against your local and national peers.  Here is a link to see the current Seniors. You can use this to send to college coaches to help you find a university football program to play with.

Following the evaluation camp, Specialists can also sign up for a 3 hour Development and Instructional Camp (Registration Link Here).  The camp will approximately start at 4:00 PM, but start time may fluctuate depending on how long the evaluation camp runs.  Sign up for the instructional camp at this link: Details and Registration Here.
 


The National Camp Series' KIX (Kicking IndeX) Player Ratings are OBJECTIVELY based upon the data that they have collected for several years. Having been able to capture the statistics from their results for specialists in the kicking game, they rate our athletes in each of the following:
  • Field Goals 
  • Kick Off
  • Punts
  • Long Snaps
Using the Kix Rating System, campers have the opportunity to showcase their talent through the NCS charting layout. Any more information on the KIX system can be found here.

  • 12:00-12:15 PM Camp Welcome and Warm Up (Parents and Players)

June 1- Minnesota NCS Football Kicking Camp

Join us, on Sunday, June 1, 2014, as Coach Chris Husby, and his staff at Special Teams Football Academy will be running it's June NCS (National Camp Series) Kicking, Punting and Snapping Camp at Stillwater Area High School from 12:00-4:00 PM.  Registration starts at 12:30 PM.

It will be an (NCS) evaluation and instructional camp.  The instructional focus will be on preparing the Kicking/Punting/Snapping specialists for summer training. The camp will have 2.5 hours of evaluation and 90 minutes of instruction.  Specialists can also sign up for the INSTRUCTION ONLY CLINIC through the link below.  Reserve a spot for the June 1st camp today: Sign Up.
 

The NCS Evaluation are for specialist in grades 6th through 12th grade.  The Clinic is open for specialists of all ages.

Following the evaluation, there will be a free 90 minute clinic on K, P, LS for NCS camp participants.  The clinic will approximately starts at 2:30 PM, but may start up to 30 minutes earlier, depending on how fast the evaluations get done.  To Apply for just the Clinic, register here.

2014 Football Kicking Camp Schedule For Special Teams Football Academy

We are pleased to announce our 2014 Special Teams Football Academy football kicking camp schedule.

This years camp will have 6 locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, and Colorado.  Some Camps will be Special Teams Football Academy (STFA) run camps, National Camp Series Camps, Top Tier All American Kicking camps (Run with Feely Athletics) as well as the Northern/Southern Specialists Camp (Run with Team Jackson Kicking).

Camp Dates and Details:
  • June 1- Minnesota NCS Evaluation Kicking Camp will be held at Stillwater High School in Stillwater, MN. For Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers. Evaluation Camp plus 90 minute instruction clinic to follow.  Evaluation for High School and Youth.  Collegiate athletes may still attend. 1:00-4:00 PM  Details and Registration Here.
  • June 17- University of Minnesota Specialist Camp will be held at the University of Minnesota.  For Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers.  Camp for High School athletes entering (9th-12th) this coming fall. 1:00-5:00 PM. Details and Registration Here


  • July 6- The New Jersey NCS/Top Tier All American Kicking camp will be held at Middletown High School North in Middletown (North NJ), NJ.  For Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers.   Evaluation and Instructional Camp.  Evaluation for High School and Youth.  Collegiate athletes may still attend and train. 1 day camp 9 AM-5 PM  Details and Registration Here. 
  • July 12- Central Minnesota Developmental Kicking Camp will be held at Crosby Ironton High School in Crosby, MN (30 Miles from Mille Lacs, MN). Instructional Development camp for Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers.  Instructional Development for High School, Youth and Collegiate athletes. Details and Registration Here.
  • July 13- North Dakota NCS Evaluation Kicking Camp will be held at Shanley High School in Fargo, ND. For Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers.  Evaluation Camp plus instruction clinic to follow until end of camp, or attend 3 hour Instructional camp at 4 PM.  Evaluation for High School & Youth.  Collegiate athletes may still attend and train.  Camp Hours 12:00-3:30 PM  Details and Registration Here.

  • July 19- College Specialist Camp- Camp will be held at Woodbury High School, in Woodbury, MN.  For current and upcoming Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers in College and Class of 2015 Senior Specialists.  High level instruction, mental and game preparation and competition.   • July 26 and 27- The Minnesota NCS/Top Tier All American Kicking Camp will be held at The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.  For Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers.  Evaluation and Instructional Camp.  Evaluation for High School and Youth.  Collegiate athletes may still attend and train.  2 day camp 8 AM-5 PM   Details and Registration Here. 
  • July 30- Inner City Kicking Camp-  Kicking, Punting and Snapping Camp for specialists from public inner city Minneapolis and St Paul High Schools.  Introduction and instructional camp for specialists of all skill levels. Camp Hours 6:00-9:00 PM. Held at St Paul Highland High School. $30 per specialist.  Camp details and registration here.
  • August 2 and 3The Florida NCS/Top Tier All American Kicking Camp will be held at Jesuit High School in Tampa, FL.  For Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers.  Evaluation and Instructional Camp.  Evaluation for High School and Youth.  Collegiate athletes may still attend and train.  2 day camp 8 AM-5 PM   Details and Registration Here.
  • August 9The Colorado NCS/Top Tier All American Kicking Camp will be held at Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs, CO.  For Kickers, Punters and Long Snappers.  Evaluation and Instructional Camp.  Evaluation for High School and Youth.  Collegiate athletes may still attend and train.  1 day camp 8 AM-5 PM   Details and Registration Here.
